I wrote this a while ago, for the OVUUC blog, but felt the need to share it with a wider audience, so I'm adding a link, here.
Ohio Valley UUs Community Blog: The Prodigal Blogger Returns
I'll have more to talk about, soon, but life is very wacky, right now. This is the short explanation. Just add that I moved from Wheeling, WV to Jersey City, NJ and the culture shock (not to mention the "moving" shock) this is, and you'll have more of the story!

Hi Bettina,
I found your blog through the link on The Philosopher Artist (Rhonda)blog. She had the button "Sing this song". I was really touched by the song. I lost my best friend/husband of 22 years four months ago, hearing the song just gave me such relief, and serenity. I would love to add the button to my own blog but am having difficulty doing it. I tried adding it as a "gadget" but keep getting stymied as they say the link is broken? huh? Any words of wisdom to get the button on my blog. BTW, thank you for sharing this song. I was having a bad day and after hearing the song, a calm came over me.
Hi, Trish!
I can't begin to tell you how much it means to me when I get messages like yours. I wrote that song for my own healing, not realizing at the time how much it would mean to others. I love that you want to share it. You can download the song, for free, on my website at Fairywebmother.com . I invite people to grab the button and link it to the page, but I'm not sure of the code, myself. Maybe Rhonda could tell you how she did it? Let me know if she can't help you and I'll try to figure something out. I know the code for linking a picture to a URL is pretty simple, I just can't remember it, off hand.
Thank you. Your message means a lot. I am deeply saddened by your loss, but grateful (and humbled)that you could find comfort from my music.
Many Blessings...
Hi again, oh awesome singer of healing songs!
I would love love love to meet with you and share our stuff on shamanism, UU, art and everything - maybe even work some magic in NYC . . . . .

I am in D.C. right now, but will be home Friday, and would love to get together.
bright blessings, Em
